Meet Amanda!

Hi there! I am originally from Edwardsville, IL and proudly serve the neighborhoods I grew up in. I started out in the pet grooming industry in 2013, specializing in nervous or fearful dogs and always looking for ways to make the process easier and more comfortable for them. 

Working with dogs who are fearful or anxious of grooming has become my passion - making grooming a comfortable, regular task again is my ultimate goal for them.

The Purple Paw Pet Spa, followed by Flawless Groomerie, were born from my desire to connect with pets on a one on one basis, giving them a more calm, less stressful environment to relax and more fully enjoy the grooming process, a true spa day for a well rounded canine.

What does one on one service require of the pet owner?

​
A leash and collar or a secure pet carrier to bring your pet to the salon. We set appointment times to help keep any overlap minimal between pets being picked up and others being dropped off.. Please do not drop off early unless you've made prior arrangements to do so. We do also send a text about 30min before your pet is finished so they don't have to stay all day and we can avoid  kennels.
The desire to keep your pet well maintained with a one, two, or four week schedule, depending on your preferences and what style your pet will be kept in.
